1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the GORB World app or related services, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
GORB World lets you organize your contacts (GORB lists), create events, and send or receive invitations to meet up. The service is provided "as is" and we may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.
3. Your Account and Conduct
You must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the service. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it updated. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for all content you create, post, or share through the service (including event descriptions, list names, invitations, and profile information). You represent that your content does not violate these Terms.
You agree not to use the app for any illegal purpose and not to create, upload, share, or promote content that:
- is illegal or facilitates illegal activity;
- constitutes harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech, or incites violence or discrimination against individuals or groups;
- is pornographic, sexually explicit, or contains nudity (or is otherwise inappropriate for a general audience);
- depicts or glorifies gratuitous violence;
- is spam, unsolicited commercial messaging, or abusive commercial use;
- impersonates another person or entity, or uses fake or misleading accounts;
- constitutes Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), or otherwise exploits or endangers minors;
- violates the intellectual property or other rights of others; or
- we reasonably consider objectionable or harmful.
You must not create fake accounts or impersonate others. We may remove content that infringes others' intellectual property and may take action against repeat infringers.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. We may also require additional verification where account authenticity, security, or legal compliance cannot be reasonably confirmed.
4. Account Verification and Communications
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive messages and calls needed to verify and secure your account.
To complete sign-in or sign-up, the app may ask you to place a brief verification call or enter a one-time passcode sent by SMS, depending on your location, network, or device.
These verification steps are used only for account security, fraud prevention, and account recovery.
You may opt out of non-required SMS messages where supported. Essential security messages may still be sent when needed to protect your account. For help, contact us at support@gorb.world.
You are responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier related to verification messages or calls.
5. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may also suspend or terminate your account (including permanently) for breach of these terms, fraud, or to comply with law. On termination, your right to use the service ends. Creating new accounts or otherwise circumventing a suspension or termination to continue using the service is prohibited and may result in further action. We are not obligated to allow previously removed users to use the service again.
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may contact us to request a review. We will consider your request but are not obligated to reinstate your account.
We may retain limited data as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Reporting, Enforcement, Child Safety Standards, and In-Person Safety
Safety standards. GORB World, a product of Konjor LLC, maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We do not permit any content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. Upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE, we will remove the content immediately and permanently terminate the associated account.
Reporting. You may report content or conduct that violates these Terms or harms others without leaving the app by using in-app reporting tools (including report options on events and invitations), or through Settings → Help & Support (choose the Safety category). You may also email us at support@gorb.world. For child safety or legal matters, contact our Child Safety Point of Contact at legal@gorb.world. We review reports and may remove content or take action against accounts, including suspension or termination. We do not disclose details of specific investigations or enforcement outcomes.
Reporting to authorities. We report violations involving CSAM or CSAE to relevant law enforcement and child-protection authorities when required by law or when we believe it is necessary for safety, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable. We comply with all applicable legal requirements regarding the reporting of CSAM and CSAE. If you become aware of serious or illegal conduct, we encourage you to report it to your local authorities as well.
In-person meetings. Meeting other users in person is at your own risk. We do not conduct background checks on users. For safety concerns or illegal conduct in connection with in-person meetings, please report to your local authorities and, for child safety matters, contact legal@gorb.world.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GORB World and its providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app (including loss of data or missed meetups). Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred dollars, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in such cases our liability is limited to the maximum permitted.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users or for content shared through the app by users. We may remove content or take action against accounts that we believe violate these Terms.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new terms here and update the "Last updated" date. We may notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing Law and Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles. For questions about these terms, contact us at support@gorb.world.
